Topic: The old heritage

Artist statement

My topic is the old heritage, because Penang is one of the historical town in Malaysia. I choose the Kuan Yin temple as the second object of my artwork. I choose the front of Kuan Yin temple and the crowded in that, to show many people still appreciated this place even the building looks old. My typography also written about that "Even the building looks old but people still appreciated this place". I only used 1 font for my typography, why i choose this font, because this font showed the classic view but not too classic, because the font is little bit thicker than other fonts.

Artwork Treatment

My artwork is done digitally, as always I used adobe photoshop to edited the photo, and I used adobe illustrator to make the typography. I edited the photo using adobe photoshop, I edited the brightness and contrast, the lightness, and the color I used lighting effects, and I choose yellowish color to support the classical view in this photo. The typography I edited using adobe illustrator, in this photo I only use 1 font on my typography, but I arranged them as well.

Artist statement

I choose the interior in the Kuan Yin temple, that is the red lantern hanging on the roof. The red lantern is represented the old heritage still exist even in the 21st century. In this photo I only use 1 font in my typography, the typography is "The traditional culture that is still exist even-though it is the 21st century". This font is showed the classical typo, I deliberate use this font because the red lantern is really classic.

My artwork is done digitally, I used adobe photoshop to edited the photo and I used adobe illustrator to make the typography. I edited the photo using adobe photoshop, I edited the brightness and contrast, the lightness, the levels, and the color balance, and I made the photo little bit darker for the background, and the color of lantern I edited to be lighter. I made the typography in adobe illustrator, in this photo I choose this font because to support the photo more classic.
